This is the second workshop designed specifically with sensitives and empaths in mind, and we'll be continuing these workshops every quarter for the foreseeable future.
Because right now is extra hard, isn't it? If you're at all sensitive to the energy of other people and events, then I know you've been suffering -- more than usual.
The world feels extra mean, extra aggressive, extra... in trouble.
But here's the thing: We can't help anybody if we are compromised by all of that. We can't help anyone if we're struggling and in "protecting ourselves" mode.
To help anybody, we have to have our hearts open, and that can be scary and draining when it feels like everyone and everything is out to hurt hearts.
The heart has to be open to everything. It can't pick and choose so what to do in this kind of world?
The heart can be open -- and it can instantly deal (or pretty quickly deal) with difficulty -- when its energy is grounded, providing earth-based stability and strength, creating the safety that love and compassion need to do their thing, which paradoxically is all about risk.
Enter the self-evolution and community revolution that is Vidhi Yoga -- an energy ritual yoga that emphasizes our relationships, creates circles of support, and empowers you to be the radiant vessel of healing that you were born to be. (For more about Vidhi Yoga, see below*)
In this workshop, we'll employ Vidhi Yoga and all sorts of other magicks -- writing, community building, guided meditation, spontaneous giggling, swearing, chanting, breath work, and whatever else might just happen -- to create a support structure for your Wide Open and WILD Heart.
Bring courage, pen and paper, a yoga mat if you have one, water, any crystals you like for support, any other talismanic bits of awesome (photos, oracle cards, bottles of holy water, whatevs), and dress comfy but in layers because there might be sweating ((cough)).
Each of you will leave firstly FEELING AWESOME and secondly with a plan to care for yourself during the coming zombie apocalypse (or whatever kind of apocalypse comes our way because it sure seems like one is out there!).
*Vidhi Yoga is community ritual energy yoga that focuses on the chakra/glandular systems to create vibrancy, relaxation, and overall happy (along with flexibility and strength that originates in the spine and core). I've developed this yoga after 25 years of practice and study and it's constantly evolving.
I add lots of special sauce and sprinkles that come from my background/interest in (and this list is never exhaustive as I am always learning more that I then bring to my students):

A variety of yoga lineages, including Kundalini, Kripalu, Vinyasa, and Iyengar, partner movement, meridian based medicine, Japanese butoh, modern dance, body weight work, biomechanics, guided visualizations, movement prompts for brain health, chant, meditation, and again, whatever is floating my boat at the moment.
SIDE NOTE: Vidhi is the sanskrit word for ritual but it's also related to a form of early Tantric yoga that eventually became Kundalini yoga. I love this connection and lineage.
